Stratco Outback Cooldek Patio on Riser Brackets
Project overview
This Stratco Outback Cooldek patio in Springvale South gives the existing deck dependable weather protection while retaining natural light through an integrated Rooflite panel. The patio was attached to the house using the Stratco Riser Bracket System, which raises the roof connection above the existing fascia to support improved roof pitch, clearance and water runoff. The Thunder steel finish complements the dark window frames and contrasts neatly with the original brickwork.
What the homeowners needed
The homeowners wanted dependable cover over the existing deck while retaining daylight and achieving suitable clearance and roof fall at the house connection.
Our solution
We paired insulated Cooldek roofing with a Rooflite panel and used the Stratco Riser Bracket System to lift the roof connection above the existing fascia.
The finished result
The deck now has practical all-weather protection, retained natural light and a coordinated Thunder frame that complements the home's darker finishes.
